Editorial policy
Golden Tennis Journal aims to make tennis culture engaging without letting a lively voice get ahead of what can be supported. Our editorial choices are guided by clarity, accuracy and transparent labelling.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against suitable sources and make distinctions between established information, interpretation and opinion. When a subject varies by place or institution, we say so rather than presenting one example as universal.
Independence
Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. A partnership does not buy a favourable assessment, and we do not present promotional claims as independent editorial judgement.
Corrections
If you spot an error, use the Contact page and identify the relevant article and detail. We review correction requests and, when a change is warranted, amend the text with an appropriate note explaining the correction.
Partner material and illustrations
Sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where this applies, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary photographs.
A court is more than its lines
Tennis is shaped by the spaces around play as much as by the points themselves. We look closely at the details that make each setting distinctive.
